GM has always been more than just a client to us. In 1977, our affiliate company, Urban Science, was founded to help Cadillac when they were told by others that their marketing problem “couldn’t be solved” with existing technology. Our CEO and founder, Jim Anderson, was undeterred and created a way to solve the unsolvable. Together, Urban Science and GM revolutionized network planning from push pins on a map, to a science-driven process that produces results that are defendable in court. GM was our first client to plan its dealer network using our break-through computer dot mapping, and the first client to implement a scientific process for dealership performance improvement with the launch of GM’s Drive Growth program. For over 40 years, we have worked together to drive GM sales through innovation, and we look forward to the next 40 years and beyond.
